3. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent Police would submit that the formal arrest of the petitioner has been taken place on 17.04.2026 and investigation is pending.

4. Hence, considering the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that if the petitioner is enlarged on bail there is every possibility of tampering the witness.
