Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue family card to the petitioner, residing at 3/8-4A, Chingandi Lakshmanamudali Street, Tharamangalam, Salem District as per the applications of the petitioner dated 19.08.2011.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claiming to be the permanent resident of Door No.3/8-4A, Chingandi Lakshmanamudali Street, Tharamangalam, Salem District submitted an application dated 19.08.2011 to the respondent by enclosing necessary and relevant documents for getting the family card/ ration card and since she has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Elangovan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions would submit that since the petitioner has not enclosed necessary proof regarding her residence, the application is not processed. 5.This Court taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances permits the petitioner to submit a reminder to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and along with the reminder, shall also enclose a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
copy of this order and necessary documents proving that she along with her family members, are residing in the above said address and the respondent on receipt of the same is directed to process the application and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
