Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to correct the error with regard to the classification of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, in the revenue records, the property belonging to the petitioner, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, has been wrongly classified as 'Vaikaal'. According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the said property and therefore, the wrong classification has to be removed. The petitioner also claims that by virtue of the judgment and decree dated 12.08.2020 passed in O.S. No.60 of 2019 by the District Munsif Court, Madurantakam, it has been confirmed that the property belongs to the petitioner. The petitioner had give a representation on 15.09.2025 to the respondents requesting them to correct the mistake in the revenue records. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of his request for correction of the mistake with regard to the classification of the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition in the revenue records. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 requesting the third respondent to rectify the mistake with regard to the classification of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition by correcting the same as patta land belonging to the petitioner instead of 'Vaikkal", after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner,

which includes the decree and judgment dated 12.08.2020 passed by the District Munsif Court, Madurantakam in O.S. No.60 of 2019, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 07-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VGA
