This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to withdraw O.P.No.73 of 2025 from the file of the Subordinate Court, Alandur and transfer to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. 2.Despite giving an opportunity to the respondent for arguing the 1/4
matter and listed the transfer petition today under the caption 'for orders, there is no representation on the side of the respondent. 3.I have heard Mr.A.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.The petitioner is the respondent/wife in O.P.No.73 of 2025 pending on the file of the Suborinate Court, Alandur. The petitioner seeks transfer of the said OP to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. The petitioner has expressed her various inconveniences and difficulties for attending the hearings at Alandur.
5.I am satisfied with the reasons assigned by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition, seeking transfer of the proceedings as prayed for.
6.In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The case in OP.No.73 of 2025 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Subordinate Court, Alandur and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil 2/4
