Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2015 and thereby direct the respondents to take all necessary steps to implement the project of erecting High Tension Cable Towers from Thiruverkadu to Koyambedu through by way of adopting alternative method either through by underground cable or overhead cable on the Poonamallee High Road in order to ensure the free flow of water into Coovam River during the rainy season and safeguard the life of the general public. (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) This Public Interest Litigation is premature, as the representation has been given only on 15.6.2015 and within a week's time, the writ petition was filed.

2. Once the representation is given, naturally, the concerned authorities are expected to bestow their consideration to that matter and take a decision on the representation possibly within one month from the date of receipt of the representation.
