This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2014. Ms.M.Jayanthy,Additional Government Pleader, appearing for respondents one and three and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned counsel for respondent four are present.

Learned counsel for respondents one and three submitted that the Executive Director of Water Development Agencies, Cuddalore, has not been impleaded as one of the respondent in this case. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent two filed a counter affidavit and submitted that the petitioner was earlier appointed on regular basis. However, on considering the performance of the petitioner he was dismissed with effect from 28.03.2014.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the second respondent that the petitioner has further applied for the same post basing on Page No.2 of 4

the advertisement in the newspaper; participated in the written examination and oral test. However, the petitioner could not succeed and thereby he was not considered for appointment.

Today, this matter is listed under the caption " for dismissal", even then the petitioner is not been represented. Considering the same, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Costs made easy. 15.11.2023 vca Internet Yes/No Index Yes/No Speaking Order Yes/No 1.
