By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The deponent of the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition viz. the father of the petitioner-student, would state that his daughter has successfully completed Higher Secondary Course during the academic year 2014-2015, and secured 1172 marks out of 1200, and on declaration of results, it was found that she has secured lesser marks in Biology paper, though she has performed well, and she applied for re-totalling and revaluation of the said paper by paying necessary fees and thereafter, she was not favoured with any kind of response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Ms.V.S.Manimekalai, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that a duty is cast upon the respondent to inform as to the application submitted by the petitioner for retotalling and revaluation, and since no such communication has been received from the respondent, the petitioner is constrained to file this writ petition and prays for appropriate orders. 4.Per contra, Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent, would submit that only in the event of modification of mark on revaluation, it will be uploaded in the website viz. scan.tndge.in, and in respect of the Biology paper written by the petitioner, even after re-totalling and revaluation, there is no change of mark and accordingly, the said information is not uploaded in the above said website. 5.
In the light of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate on instructions, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition as on today. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. If the petitioner is so advised and if it is available under law, she is at liberty to work out the further remedies in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
