O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.10.2014 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.G.Poonkundran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On reading the complaint, it appears that opposite party has borrowed money from the petitioner and does not return the money. But has given a cheque, which was dishonored on the ground that account closed.

4. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register an F.I.R. as the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint does not disclose the commission of cognizable offence. Hence, this petition is closed with the liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
