ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners herein, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC in Crime No.299 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioners herein apprehend arrest by the respondent police in relation with a car theft occurred on 17.05.2019 in Crime No.299 of 2019 is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

3. The First Information Report though speaks about the theft of Hyundai Eon car bearing registration No.TN 05 BP 6432, later in the arrest of the other accused, the role of these petitioners has come to light and it appears that the co-accused Yesudass had developed acquaintance with these petitioners when he was in prison and after the release they have been engaged him in vehicle theft and other crime.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are no way connected with the crime and they have been wrongly implicated.

5. However the confession statement of the co-accused implicates these petitioners in this crime and other crimes, leads the inference of this Court that the petitioners herein has involved in and the custodial interrogation of these petitioners are required to probe the said other offences committed by them. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
