The present suit has been filed by the applicant seeking recovery of Rs.1,22,66,092/- from the respondents/defendants towards the failure of the defendants to pay GST.

2. It is asserted by the applicant that GST was payable at Chennai, in the office of the Assistant Commissioner (ST), Kilpauk Assessment Circle, which has caused show cause notice to the plaintiff, within the territorial limits of this Court and hence, part of cause of action arouse at Chennai.

3. In view of the said averment, leave is granted. The application in A.No.2019 of 2023 is allowed.
