[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Rasiya Parveen, aged 2 years along with two children viz., Arshiya Mehek, aged 6 years and Amrin aged 2 years, went missing since 05.09.2020 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure them.

2. On instructions, Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on a complaint given by one Thajidheen, a case in Arakonam Town P.S.Crime No.830 of 2020 for "woman and children missing" has been registered on 08.09.2020 and during investigation, it came to light that Rasiya Parveen and the children are living in her sister's house in Thanjavur. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Arakonam to monitor the investigation in Arakonam Town P.S.Crime No.830 of 2020 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenus are secured, they shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Arakonam, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders, with regard to the custody of the detenus.
