Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

2. This petition was filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.103 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-II, Dharmapuri, on the ground that the petitioner and defacto-complainant had compromised.

3. This Court refused to entertain this petition, on the ground that, the petitioner is a police constable and such indulgence is not admissible.

4. Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw, as this Court was not inclined to admit this petition. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect. Hence this petition is dismissed as withdrawn. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. However, Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, the learned counsel for the petitioner has requested that, a direction may be issued to the trial Court to expeditiously complete the trial. Accepting his submissions, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dharmapuri to expeditiously complete the trial in C.C. No.103 of 2015 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.II , Dharmapuri. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
