ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal
at the admission stage itself.
2. This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the Respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 29.09.2025, 10.02.2026, 16.02.2026, 18.02.2026 and to conduct a detailed enquiry and take action to cancel the illegally obtained legal heir certificates (Ni.Mu(A4) 2042/2018) dated on 09.05.2018 and to issue a fresh legal heir certificate.
3. It is case of the petitioner that the petitioner's father Rajamanickam died on 21.02.2015 and her mother died on 19.07.2020 leaving behind one Chandrasekar, Selvakumar, petitioner. When the petitioner filed an application for legal heir certificate, it was rejected and later, the petitioner came to know that one of her Selvakumar suppressing the name of Chandrasekar and the petitioner, has obtained legal heir certificate. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 2 and 3 on 18.02.2026 which has not been considered till date. Hence, this writ petition.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders in issuing legal heir certificate on merits and in accordance with law after
providing opportunity of hearing to the other legal heirs within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order
