This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.8 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offences under Sections 296(b), 351(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

On instructions, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2025 has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Puducherry. The same has not yet been taken on file.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
