Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to release the lorry bearing Registration No.TN 30 AC 3726.

This matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing mode.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the respondents to release the lorry bearing Registration No.TN 30AC 3726.

3. After taking notice, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, based on instructions, submitted that the seized vehicle has been produced before the Principal and Sessions Court and Special Court for Mines and Minerals, Tiruppur in PR No.262020. Therefore, he submitted that it is for the petitioner to approach the said Court and seek for appropriate remedy.

4.Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by both parties, only with liberty to the petitioner to approach the above said Court, where the vehicle was produced and seek for the release. If any such application is filed, it is for the concerned Court to consider and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law without loss of further time. No costs.
