Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to rectify the alleged error in the UDR patta, standing in the name of respondents 3 to 5 in respect of the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.
2.For the said purpose, the petitioner had given a representation on 15.12.2025 to the official respondents along with the supporting documents. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse orders are being passed against respondents 3 to 5, notice to respondents 3 to 5 is dispensed with by this Court. 4.As seen from the documents filed along with this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, the proceedings have already been initiated by the second respondent, but till date no final order has been passed. 5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in
accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the respective parties and after hearing the objections of respondents 3 to 5, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 seeking for rectification of the alleged mistake in the UDR patta issued in favour of respondents 3 to 5, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the respective parties and after hearing the objections of respondents 3 to 5 for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
