There are two cases against the petitioner, one case is pending for offence under Section 302 of I.P.C. Due to the impending general election, the petitioner was served with summons to execute a bond.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner will appear before the first respondent on 20.04.2026.
5.It is seen that the impugned summons issued directing the petitioner to appear on 27.02.2026. The day has passed by. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the first respondent on 20.04.2026 and execute the bond. 6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
