ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to suspend the conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioners by the Fast Track Court, Exclusively to deal with Offences under the POCSO Act at Puducherry in Special Case No.46 of 2023 by judgment dated 21.02.2025 and to enlarge the petitioners on bail pending disposal of the Criminal Appeal. The reasons for convicting the petitioners/A2 to A4 has been elaborately discussed in the judgment and also considering the serious nature of offence committed by the petitioners and that the petitioners are charged for the offences punishable under section 6 of POCSO Act and Sections 9 and 11 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence.
