Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's son Thiru.R.Vijay aged about 20 years, S/o.S.Ravichandiran before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner is the father of the detenu - R.Vijay, aged about 20 years. This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 for production of the detenu.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the subsequent investigation revealed that the detenu was murdered and therefore, the case which was registered in Crime No.556 of 2017 for man missing has been altered into one under Sections 302 and 201 of IPC.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as no further order is necessary.
