O R D E R

According to the revision petitioner, the first respondent has filed a petition in RCOP.No.10 of 2014 against the revision petitioner and the other respondents. The said RCOP has been pending for more than three years. In the aforesaid RCOP, the revision petitioner has also filed an application in IA.No.1 of 2018 by raising the maintainability of the RCOP. The said application is also pending. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court for early disposal of the said RCOP.

2. During the course of arguments, the learned counsel for the revision petitioner undertakes that the revision petitioner will not press for the above IA which is now pending and seeks this Court to direct the court below to dispose of the said RCOP within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the the learned Rent Controller, Udhagamandalam, Nilgiris District to dispose of the RCOP.No.10 of 2014 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 30.06.2018, if there

is no other legal impediment.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
