ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to produce the body and person of the petitioner's husband, the detenu, by name Azhagar, S/o. Marudhan, aged about 57 years, the present petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that according to the complaint, the detenu has been missing from the year 2016 onwards. The complaint itself has been given in the year 2018. The investigation made so far would reveal that there was a misunderstanding between the husband and wife, and in pursuance of which, the detenu has left the petitioner eight years back. The search is still on.

3. In view of the above, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, the investigation shall go on and as and when the detenu is secured, he should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
