This Contempt Petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 24.06.2021 in WP.No.13154 of 2021.

The petitioner herein earlier filed a Writ Petition for issuance of a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to give due promotion or re-designate her post from Assistant Community Organiser to Community Organiser under SJSRY Scheme with all benefits, revise the scale of pay and to grant arrears of salary on par with other employee viz., A.Venkata Ramana by considering her representation dated 24.07.2020.
3. This Court disposed of the said Writ Petition by and order dated 24.06.2021 on the following lines:
"4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer which is sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance 2 / 5
with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for the petitioner now submitted that the petitioner requested that her promotion also may be considered along with the representation of the petitioner. Hence, it is open to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent, within a period of two weeks and on such a representation submitted by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent shall consider that also along with the earlier representation, within the stipulated time. No costs."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after disposal of the Writ Petition, as per the order of this Court, the petitioner gave a representation dated 16.07.2021 to grant promotion as Community Organiser and to pay arrears of salary on par with her counter part. Though the time stipulated in the order dated 24.06.2021 had expired, the petitioner's representation was not considered.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has produced before this Court a communication dated 06.10.2022 of the Deputy Director informing that the petitioner's request 3 / 5
could not be entertained due to non existence of the post of Community Organiser in the Pondicherry Municipality. Though the said communication is said to have been served on the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the he has not received the same. Be that as it may, the order dated 06.10.2022 is in compliance of the direction of this Court in the Writ Petition. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the same if he chooses. 12.10.2022 pvs 4 / 5
