O R D E R
Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the District Munsif Court, Sankari, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.181 of 2005
pending on its file as expeditiously as possible on merits in accordance with law.
2.Learned counsel for the revision petitioner/first defendant submitted that the respondents 1 to 12 herein as the plaintiffs filed a suit in O.S.No.181 of 2005 for permanent injunction restraining the defendants 1 to 6 and their men from interfering with the administration of the plaintiffs' committee, "Sri Parvatha Raja Kula Palani Andavar Kavadi Pothu Committee, Idappadi" and other reliefs. He further submitted that even though the written statement was filed in the year 2006 and issues were framed in the year 2008 itself, the trial Court has not shown any interest to dispose of the suit. Hence, he has come forward with this revision for early disposal of the suit.
3.Considering the limited nature of the relief as sought for herein, notice to the respondents is dispensed with. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner and on perusal of the typed set of papers, since the suit is of the year 2005 and issues were framed in the
year 2008, it is a fit case to give a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the suit as early as possible. Accordingly, the District Munsif Court, Sankari, is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.181 of 2005 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on day to day basis, after giving fair opportunity to both the parties.
5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
