O R D E R

The first respondent initiated Disciplinary Proceedings against the petitioner by issuing charge memo dated 21.9.2009. According to the petitioner, the enquiry officer has already conducted enquiry. The first respondent is yet to pass orders. The petitioner therefore, seeks a direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the first respondent would require six months time to complete the enquiry proceedings.

3. The first respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
