ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.147 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent to some other competent investigating agency. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent Police.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent Police would submit that the 1st respondent Police will file the final report within a period of three months.

4.It is seen that the dispute is with regard to the petitioner settling the property in favour of his daughter and son. The 2nd respondent/accused is alleged to have assaulted the petitioner with iron pipe due to the dispute. 5.In view of the above, the 1st respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the petitioner. The Inspector of Police attached to the 1st respondent Police is to monitor the investigation.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
