By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of Sri Moopanar, Sri Selva Mariamman, Sri Kaliammal Temple situated at 8th Ward, Gangavalli Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District and he submitted an application dated 20.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural programme which includes song and dance programme to be held on 04.07.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there in that place and prays for appropriate orders.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 5.This Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 20.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 26.06.2015 and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
