JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN,J.) The appellant challenges the order dated 18.01.2018 made in W.P.No.644 of 2018 in and by which the Writ Petition filed by the appellant challenging the charge memo dated 19.12.2017 was dismissed by the learned single Judge.

2. Though the challenge was to the charge memo, the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

single Judge had proceeded on the footing that the challenge was to the order of suspension dated 23.11.2016. Hence, notice was issued to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

3. After some arguments, Mr.N.Rajan, learned counsel for the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has filed a memo dated 20.04.2018 to the effect that the Special Committee of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry has decided to withdraw the charge memo dated 19.12.2017 with liberty to institute fresh proceedings by its proceedings dated 19.04.2018.

4. Recording the same, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as having become infructuous on account of the subsequent events. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
