Common Prayer : Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to call for records and quash the first information report pending investigation in Crime No.248 of 2014, on the file of Inspector of Police, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies C.I.D., Patravakkam Police Station, Patravakkam, Ambattur, Chennai - 53, as an abuse of process of law.

C O M M O N O R D E R These petitions have been filed seeking to call for the records relating to Crime No.248 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and to quash the same.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court permits the petitioners to furnish the particulars before the law enforcing agency to prove their innocence and issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation within a time frame. 3.The learned Government Advocate concede to the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would further submit that the investigation will be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation in Crime No.248 of 2014, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to co-operate with the law enforcing agency for early completion of the investigation.

5.These criminal original petitions are accordingly disposed of.
