ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 406 & 420 r/w 34 of IPC, in Crime No.103 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.When the matter is listed before me today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already entered into a joint compromise and according to the compromise, the petitioner has agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.70,00,000/- (Rupees Seventy Lakhs Only) to the defacto complainant and already Rs.49,00,000/- was settled as per the Memorandum of Joint Compromise and the remaining amount of Rs.21,00,000/- the petitioner has agreed to settle the amount in the month of January 2026. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a copy of the Joint Memorandum of Compromise along with acknowledgment receipts entered between the parties.
3.Considering the fact that the parties have entered into the Joint
Compromise, I am of the view that the petitioner is entitled for the grant of anticipatory bail, hence, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner subject to the following conditions:

Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, before the learned CCB, Egmore, Chennai District on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only), with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that:
[a] the sureties shall affix their photographs and Left Thumb Impression in the surety bond and the Magistrate may obtain a copy of their Aadhar card or Bank pass Book to ensure their identity;
[b] the petitioner is directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.21,00,000/- in January 2026;
[c] the petitioner shall report before the respondent
Police, as and when required for further interrogation; [d] the petitioner shall not abscond either during investigation or trial;
[e] the petitioner shall not tamper with evidence or witness either during investigation or trial;
[f] On breach of any of the aforesaid conditions, the learned Magistrate/Trial Court is entitled to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law as if the conditions have been imposed and the petitioner released on bail by the learned Magistrate/Trial Court himself as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in P.K.Shaji vs. State of Kerala [(2005)AIR SCW 5560];
[g] If the accused thereafter absconds, a fresh FIR can be registered under Section 269 of B.N.S.
