Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2023 and direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the land comprised in Survey No.77/2 measuring an extent of 0.71.0 hectares situated at Venkatesapuram Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to the petitioner. ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2023 and direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the land comprised in Survey No.77/2 measuring an extent of 0.71.0 hectares situated at Venkatesapuram Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to the petitioner.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property has been purchased by the father of the petitioner by way of a registered sale deed dated 15.04.1968 and the said property absolutely belong to the family of the petitioner and they are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property and paying tax to the revenue authorities. Therefore, the petitioner had given a representation dated 24.02.2023 for issuance of separate patta to the petitioner But the same has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first 2/4

respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the same for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
