Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Third Respondent to impose a penalty of Rs.25,000/- against the First Respondent which is mandatory after observing the procedure as laid down under the proviso to Section 20(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and also direct the Third Respondent to require the First Respondent and the Second Respondent herein to compensate Petitioner for loss and other detriment suffered under Section 19(8)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and also direct the Third Respondent to pass orders as per Section 20(2) of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Third Respondent to impose a penalty of Rs.25,000/- against the First Respondent which is mandatory after observing the procedure as laid down under the proviso to Section 20(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and also direct the Third Respondent to require the First and Second Respondents herein to compensate the Petitioner for loss and other detriment suffered under Section 19(8)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and also direct the Third Respondent to pass orders as per Section 29(2) of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented by the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner that the information sought for by the Petitioner has been given by the Respondents and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court records.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
