(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kamalesh Kannan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for respondent nos.1 and 3 and Mr.P.S.Ganesh, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for respondent no.2. 2.The petitioner is seeking directions to the third respondent, Block Development Officer, Chitlapakkam, to take immediate action against unauthorised construction put up by the fourth respondent in Door No.11/241, Bharathiyar 1st Street, Medavakkam, Chennai, 600100.
3.The counter affidavit of the third respondent / Block Development Officer shows that they have issued a demolition notice dated 20.06.2019 in relation to the said unauthorised construction. As far as the renovated building is concerned, they have issued directions to the fourth respondent to rectify the renovated building as per the approved plan. Thus, it is seen that the authorities are taking action in relation to the unauthorised construction. Thus, no further orders are necessary at this stage. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
No costs.
Consequently, W.M.P.No.11012 of 2019 is closed.
