Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 15.07.2017 sent by the petitioner.

3.Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2017 to rectify the mistake in the UDR patta, the respondent has not passed any order so far.

4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2017 in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks time.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
