O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner/plaintiff against the order of the 1st respondent dated 16.10.2015 bearing No.246/CWC/2014-15.

2. It is to be stated that under Section 32(1) Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children Act 2000), (hereinafter called as the Act) there is a provision for appeal against the impugned order. Further, it is to be noted that assuming the revision is maintainable under section 53 of the Act as per Section 54 of the Act, there shall be a Criminal revision not as a Civil revision.

3. In the light of remedy available to the petitioner to prefer either an appeal or a Criminal revision against the impugned order, this civil revision petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum and if he files any appeal or revision the period for spending this revision shall be excluded.
