The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent to issue Oversees Citizen of India card to the Petitioner without insisting upon the 'No Objection Certificate' from the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA).

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner has made a fresh application on 20.11.2019 providing the details sought by the Respondent for issuance of Oversees https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Citizen of India card based on the nationality of the father of the Petitioner and that the outcome of the same is awaited.

In that backdrop, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to challenge any order that may be passed on that application dated 20.11.2019, if he is aggrieved. He has also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
