Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the relief of issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue a certificate asserting the veracity of document in pursuance to the communication issue dby the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent dated 07.10.2014 bearing Ref.No. A5/3196/2014 and thereon and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2014 after the receipt of certificate issued by the 1st respondent.

ORDER

Considering the limited scope of the prayer, by consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a bachelor's degree holder in Mechanical Engineering. The petitioner stated that his father owned a landed property measuring to an extent of Acre 2.80 Cents comprised in S.No.10/3B at Kothapatti Village, Periyakulam Taluk and from out of the said land, a portion of 20 cents of land was acquired by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the use of public. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner has registered his name in the roll of the 2nd respondent. According to the petitioner, he is an unemployed and he is entitled for priority in the matter of employment under the category of "Land Losers". In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent, in turn, under his letter ref. No.A5/319/2014 dated 07.10.2009 and 28.04.2015 requested the 1st respondent to furnish certain particulars so as to place the petitioner in the priority category. The 2nd respondent is yet to receive those particulars from the 1st respondent. In the mean while, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking appropriate directions to the respondents.

3. I have heard the submissions made on either side.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to furnish necessary details as requested under letters dated 07.10.2014 and 28.04.2015 to the 2nd respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent, in turn, on receipt of such particulars from the 1st respondent, shall act according to law and communicate the decision taken by him to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
