ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for
enhancement of compensation.
When this writ petition came up for hearing on 15.04.2025, this Court passed the following order:
"ORDER Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for 1st respondent.
2. It is seen from records that initially the respondent passed an award which was challenged by the petitioner in Arbitration OP No.153 of 2007 before the 1st Additional District Judge, Salem. The learned 1st Additional District Judge through an order dated 27.03.2024 setaside the award and remitted the matter back to the file of the respondent and till date, the respondent has not passed an award.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to take instructions. In the meantime, the Project Director, Jagir Ammapalayam, Salem, is suo-motu impleaded as the 2nd respondent in this writ petition and Mrs.S.R.Sumathy, learned standing counsel takes notice for 2nd respondent.
4. Post this case at the end of the motion list on 28.04.2025. 15-04-2025"

When this writ petition was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Government Pleader produced written instructions received from the first respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the enquiry was conducted on 26.04.2025 and that final orders will be passed by the first respondent within a period of one month.

Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
