O R D E R

Petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the learned II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in HMOP No.1482 of 2014 within a stipulated time. The petitioner filed HMOP No.1482 of 2014 for divorce on the ground of cruelty.

2. The Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

respondent had filed her counter and is contesting the Original Petition. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the matter, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition and without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the learned II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to dispose of the Original Petition in HMOP No.1482 of 2014 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
