Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.12.2018 and 14.3.2019 and consequently restrain the first respondent from initiating any further action in respect of the property situated at Door No.2/367, Oil Mill Road, Ayyappanthangal comprised in S.No. 104/1A2, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and handover the possession and pay compensation of Rs.40 Lakhs to the petitioner. (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mrs.S.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c.) for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that at present she is restricting her prayer only to her representations dated 10.12.2018 and 14.3.2019 being considered at the earliest. Both the representations are addressed to the first respondent, i.e., the Commissioner, Kundrathur Panchayat Union, Padapai. The said representations pertain to the property situated at Door No.2/367, Oil Mill Road, Ayyappanthangal comprised in S.No.104/1A2, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. The learned Government Pleader (i/c.) states that the said representations will be considered within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In view of the statement made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c.), no further orders are necessary at this stage. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
