This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 161 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal.

2.Heard Mr.V.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Subramanian, learned counsel for the respondent-1 and Mr.R.Vinothraja, learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-2.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 161 days in filing the Criminal Appeal is condoned and the petition is allowed.
