O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 27.06.2020 in view of Lalitha Kumari's Case (Supreme Court).

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the letter dated 27.06.2020 sent to the first respondent on 01.07.2020, seeking a direction to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the letter was sent to the first respondent only on 01.07.2020 and this petition has been filed on 04.07.2020, not giving any time. Further, on going through the complaint, it is seen that only bald allegations have been made and there is no specific instance of corruption or misuse of official duty. Therefore, the first respondent forwarded the complaint to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District Collector, Cuddalore on 20.07.2020, since the grievance of the petitioner was against the revenue officials.

4. In view of the above submission, there is nothing pending before the respondent police. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
