Heard Mr.M.V.Swaroop, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Narayanaswamy, learned Senior Standing Counsel for the respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during the pendency of this contempt petition, the respondent has passed an order under Section 154 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, dated 26.09.2018, and also sanctioned the admissible refund.

3.In the light of the above, this contempt petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, Sub Application (OS) No.583 of 2018 is also closed.
