Heard Mr.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Umesh Rao, learned Senior Standing Counsel for the respondents, who appear once is supported by memo filed on 09.02.2021. Though the name of Mr.S.Muthusamy is printed in the cause list for the respondents, there is no appearance by or on his behalf.

2. The prayer in the writ petition, for a mandamus directing the respondents being the Union of India represented by Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue/R1 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Superintendent of GST & GE, Chennai/R2 to extend the date of clearing of all outstanding amounts assessed vide Form No.SVLDRS-3 dated 30.04.2020 to 31.12.2020, is infructuous as the outer date of 31.12.2020, has long passed. Thus, nothing survives in this writ petition today.
