O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to register an FIR on the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.10.2014 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.D.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that the petitioner got married to one Kumar in the year 2006 and thereafter, their marriage was dissolved by the decree of divorce in the year 2012. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Now the petitioner has filed the present complaint alleging that her husband is retaining some movable property illegally. On a reading of the complaint, it does not disclose the commission of any cognizable offence for the police to investigate the same and it is purely a matrimonial dispute. Hence, no positive direction can be given as prayed for. Hence, this petition is closed with the liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
