O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to include the offences attracted under Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 in Crime No.5 of 2015 and investigate the same expeditiously and file the final report at the earliest.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though there are allegations attracting the provisions of Dowry Prohibition Act, the respondent Police have not included the offences and registered the case in Crime No.5 of 2015 for offences under Section 498[A] and 406 IPC.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and during the course of enquiry, if materials for the said offence come to light, it is needless to state that the same shall be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

included in the final report.
