Mr.Jothi Kumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

In view of the narrow prayer made during the hearing of the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2014 for compassionate appointment and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, particularly since the father of the petitioner died in 2000 and it is also stated by the respondent in the proceedings in Lr.No.35640/pa.ni.pi/a.3/2012, dated 22.01.2013 that the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment is still pending consideration.
