ORDER

This Contempt may not be maintained in the light of the subsequent development, whereby the co-ordinate bench of this Court at Madurai has held that the Waqf Board has no jurisdiction to held elections. The elections have to be held strictly in accordance with the Performa and the bye-laws of the Waqf.

2. Therefore, this Contempt petition is closed with a liberty to all the parties to held elections in accordance with bye-laws and without prejudice to the Waqf Board of the Direct Management.
