O R D E R

Based on complaint given by the wife, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.7 of 2023 and pending investigation he had intimated the External Affairs Minister to issue a Look Out Circular. Accordingly, the Look Out Circular has been issued against the petitioner herein, who is the husband of the defacto complainant. This Petition is filed to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the matrimonial dispute amicably resolved between the defacto complainant and the petitioner. They entered into the memorandum of understanding on 22.04.2024. The defacto complainant has agreed to withdraw the criminal complaint pending investigation and also the domestic violence case is pending on the file of Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai. Pursuant to the memorandum of understanding, O.P.No.4217 of 2023 and D.V.C.No.47 of 2024 been withdrawn and disposed of on 22.04.2024. The memorandum of understanding has also been intimated to the respondent police 2/5

requesting him to close the complaint.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in the Court. She endorsed for execution of the letter and her desire to withdraw the criminal complaint pending in Crime No.7 of 2023.

4. In the light of the above fact, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to issue the Look Out Circular against the petitioner herein. Hence, the first respondent is directed to intimate the authorities to withdraw the Look Out Circular forthwith. Also, the Investigating Officer, who is the second respondent, shall take note of the memorandum of understanding entered between the parties and close the criminal complaint, after getting necessary endorsement from the defacto complainant.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
