This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to register the FIR, on the basis of the complaint dated 04.01.2017 made by the petitioner.

2.When this writ petition was taken up, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police had conducted enquiry as regards the complaint dated 04.01.2017 made by the petitioner and closed the matter with a direction to the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court. He also produced a copy of the proceedings of the Inspector of Police (L&O), S7 Madipakkam Police Station, Keelkattalai, Chennai-600 117, to that effect. 3.Recording the above, the writ petition is closed.
