ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the revision petitioner seeking for direction to the Family Judge, Pondicherry to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.206 of 2017 by fixing specific time frame. 1/4

2. The petitioner has filed this H.M.O.P.No.206 of 2017 against the respondent seeking for divorce on the ground of cruelty. As per the record, after completion of petitioner's side evidence, the respondent taken number of adjournments to produce further evidence. The proceedings sheet enclosed in the typed set of papers would reveals that seven adjournments were taken up by the respondent and thereafter conditional order was passed by the learned Family Judge, even thereafter also the respondent could not able to produce further evidence. It appears that the respondent has been dragged on the matter for a longer period.

4. Considering the circumstance, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the learned Family Judge, Pondicherry to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.206 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected C.M.P.No.8594 of 2023 is closed. 21.04.2023 jai 2/4
